Al Massa Hotel-unpacking

After my little shopping run, I think to myself how can I get comfortable in this room because who knew how long I would be here. I really didn't feel comfortable in the room because I could hear the construction outside and the hotel said to be sure we keep our window drapes closed because there are peeping tom's outside of the hotel who would like to look inside. That bothered me immediately because I love to let in light and if possible have my windows open.

I am sure most of the other teachers didn't follow the rules or cared about such a small rule but it was already getting under my skin because I actually looked outside and there were Pakistani men working outside. I started to prepare my clothes for tomorrow,  contacted my family and set my alarm clocks to make sure I woke up on time.

The next morning I woke up around 6am got ready to head out and meet my friend L and the other teachers who were at the same school as I was. We met at the lobby which you can see below. We found out there was complimentary breakfast being served at this hotel as well. We walked over to an area of the lobby which the hotel turned to a buffet style breakfast area. The effort was very nice but the food tasted awful! They had some soggy pita bread and sliced bread. The eggs were runny and they had some type of breakfast sausage which was runny on the inside as well.

The teachers weren't too happy and most of them complained. I definitely didn't like most of the food there but it's a nice gesture for them to prepare and give us free food. I had some coffee which all of their coffee is Nestle Instant and fresh cream. I had a piece of toast with jelly and grabbed a piece of fruit for later. Their bottled water came in the cutest cup just like how we contain our jello pudding snacks. I grabbed a few and headed out with the teachers to catch ourselves a taxi.
